Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi Indian, b. 1981

Metamorphosis presents a comprehensive body of work by Indian contemporary artist Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi, created over the last two decades. This exhibition traces the evolution of his artistic journey, reflecting the emotional and circumstantial phases that have shaped his creative process. Through various series, Chaturvedi showcases his mastery of fine penmanship, precise brushwork, and surreal themes that explore societal intricacies and humanity’s relationship with the world around them. Driven by a desire to depict life authentically, Chaturvedi captures the beauty of nature and the contradictions of human behaviour and its nuances in the same frame, without concealing or distorting reality.

“Vocabulary of Vision”, an inaugural exhibition at Black Cube Gallery's new space in Hauz Khas, New Delhi. Showcasing eminent, modern, and contemporary artistic voices, “Vocabulary of Vision” explores art as a form of language, where lines, colours, shapes, and forms become an artist’s unique lexicon of expression.

Black Cube also participated in the Sculpture Park, showcasing large works by Valay Shende, Dhananjay Singh and Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi.
